Mr. Willie Roger Williams was born July 7, 1952 in Laurens County, South Carolina to the late Thomas Williams and Lillie Ruth Watts Williams.
He attended the public schools of Laurens County, South Carolina including Midway Public School in Cross Hill, South Carolina and Bell Street High School in Clinton, South Carolina.
Willie was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church in Laurens, South Carolina.
After twenty-nine years of employment, he retired from the Vulcan Materials Company as a loader/operator.
Willie loved being with his family and friends, but he also loved fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Bobby Watts, Sr. and Richard Lee Williams.
Mr. Willie Roger Williams entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital in Clinton, South Carolina at the age of seventy-two.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife, Nellie Todd Williams; four sons, Willie J. (Karen) Williams, Patrick Rice, Joshua (Renae) Williams, Daniel (Sharee) Williams; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas Williams, Donnie Williams; two sisters, Elaine (Johnny) Hearst, Cora (Larry) Dial; one aunt, Mary Hearst; two uncles: A.C. Grant and Willie Franklin Watts: three sisters-in-law: Lula (Charles) Tyler, Betty (John) Smith, and Sarah Hill; one brother-in-law, James Todd and a host of other relatives and friends.
