Zarius Montreal Hurley

Mr. Zarius Montreal "Zay"  Hurley was born at Laurens County Hospital in Laurens County, South Carolina to Zandra Waldon and Richard Hurley.

He attended the public schools of Laurens County and was a graduate of the Clinton High School Class of 2018 in Clinton, South Carolina.

Zay's love for sports, especially basketball, will live on with all the awards and recognitions he received from his time as an amazing basketball star for the Clinton High School Red Devils. He loved the Los Angeles Lakers and the Washington Commanders as well.

We know on Thursday, April 04, 2024, Zay was welcomed at the Pearly Gates by his grandmothers: Sarah Mae Waldon and Ophelia Boyd; his grandfather, James R. Dillard; and a host of other angels at the age of twenty-four.

In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish his memories to his brother, Jordan Hurley of Greenville, South Carolina; his grandparents; Jimmy and Rose Hurley of Clinton, South Carolina; three aunts:  Diane Waldon, Regina Hurley, and Lillian Hurley all of Clinton, South Carolina; one uncle, Erskine Waldon of Clinton, South Carolina; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly..
